Clouds will be torn in Rajasthan: Artificial rain will be done in Jaipur for the first time tomorrow. Jaipur Drone Artificial Rain Cloud Seeding Trial Ramgarh Dam 2025

Drone Artificial Rain: Drone will be the first trial of artificial rain on the Ramgarh dam in Jaipur. With this new technology, there will be a test to bring rain by spraying clouds in a limited area, which will provide relief to crops in dried affected areas and improve farming.

Jaipur Ramgarh Dam Drone Artificial Rain: There will be a unique view in the sky of Ramgarh Dam in Jaipur on Tuesday. Here in the afternoon, the first trial of artificial rain will be done with the help of a drone. Agriculture Minister Dr. Kirori Lal Meena will formally start this project. It is being claimed that so far artificial rains in India have been performed only through airplanes, but this will be the first time drone technology will be used in a small range.

American and Bengaluru company will perform 60 Tests

For this trial, technology company Jane X AI of the US and Bengaluru has been given the responsibility, which is working with the Department of Agriculture as a pilot project. About 60 cloud seeding tests will be driven under the scheme, which aims to test the ability to bring rain in a limited area. All the necessary permissions were taken in July itself to give the green signal to this project. This includes the approval of the Meteorological Department, District Administration and DGCA (Directorate General of Civil Aviation) along with the departments of the Central and State Government. Earlier the trial was to be held on 31 July, but it was postponed due to a warning of heavy rains by the Meteorological Department.

Cloud seeding process will rain

In cloud seeding technology, special chemicals such as silver iodide, sodium chloride or dry ice are left when moisture is present in clouds. These particles go into the clouds and attract waterclasses, causing them to fall into heavy rain. This process can be done by drone, airplane or helicopter.

How will Rajasthan benefit from drone rain

There are many clouds during the monsoon in Rajasthan, but there is no rain due to lack of moisture or other reasons. If the drone-based cloud seeding is successful, this technique can be adopted to protect crops from drought in limited areas in the coming times. This will especially relieve areas where there is a crisis on farming due to lack of water.

The whole country’s eyes on this trial of Jaipur

In previous years, cloud seeding efforts from the plane have given mixed results. For example, the Bhainsunda dam in Chittorgarh was used by spending around Rs 10 crore, but the expected rains were not received. Because of this, everyone’s eyes are now on this trial of Jaipur. If this experiment was successful, then it can become a new hope not only for Rajasthan but also for other drought-affected areas of the country.
