Center has given Y+ security to Tej Pratap Yadav amid Bihar elections. Now 11 commandos of CRPF will protect them. This decision taken after the threat report has intensified political speculation.
The election atmosphere in Bihar is heated and meanwhile a new stir in the political circles intensified when the Central Government provided Y+ category security to Tej Pratap Yadav, the elder son of former Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav. Now 11 commandos of CRPF will be deployed for their security 24 hours. This decision has been taken after security reports in which there was apprehension of a possible threat against Tej Pratap.
Tej Pratap Yadav has recently separated from RJD and formed his new party Janashakti Janata Dal and this time he is contesting from Mahua assembly seat on his new election symbol black board. The increase in their security right in the middle of the elections is giving further fuel to the political discussions.
Tej Pratap was seen with BJP MP Ravi Kishan
Just a day ago, Tej Pratap was seen with BJP MP Ravi Kishan at Patna Airport. During this, Ravi Kishan praised Tej Pratap a lot. He said that Tej Pratap is a person with a strong heart and BJP welcomes those who do politics of service. Tej Pratap also said in reply that I will stay with whoever provides employment. This statement had increased the political temperature. After this meeting and statement, the discussion intensified that Tej Pratap can move closer to NDA at any time. In such a situation, providing security cover is also being seen from the perspective of election strategy.
What does Y+ security mean?
Y+ security consists of a total of 11 trained commandos. Of these, 6 commandos will accompany Tej Pratap as PSO in every movement while 5 commandos will be permanently deployed in and around his residence. With this, security will become more tight during Tej Pratap’s travels, public programs and meetings.
New party, new equation, new strategy
Tej Pratap is seen taking a completely different stance in this election from his father’s traditional political style. He is repeatedly talking about “politics of service”, calling himself the voice of the youth and the public. His supporters consider this an attempt to create an independent identity for Tej Pratap. On the other hand, a question has arisen among the opposition parties whether this security was given only because of the potential threat or is there any political implication hidden behind it.
