India-Bangladesh Relation: A meeting is going to be held between India-Bangladesh in Dhaka. This meeting will be held from 25 to 28 August. During this time, issues like murders, infiltrations, trafficking etc. will be discussed on the border.
India-Bangladesh Ties: A four -day meeting is going to be held in Dhaka from 25 to 28 August in Dhaka between BSF of India and BGB of Bangladesh. This meeting will be held in BJP’s headquarters Peelkhana. In this meeting, stopping the border murders and illegal infiltration, preventing drugs, weapons and banned goods from India, stopping unauthorized construction within 150 yards from the international border, survey of rivers along the border and equal distribution of water, jointly monitoring and safety schemes on the border, reducing the tension on the border with wrong news in the media.
Earlier in February, there was a meeting between the two countries in Delhi. In view of the situation in Bangladesh, India imposed a night curfew near the border in East Khasi Hills district of Meghalaya from 9 May. The purpose of curfew is to stop illegal infiltration and smuggling. Given the seriousness of the situation, it was immediately implemented. These things will be banned during curfew
Curfew banned the movement of people near the border, so that they could not enter Bangladesh or illegally enter India. This banned any unauthorized procession or illegal gathering of five or more persons and banned carrying items that could be used as weapons, such as sticks, rods and stones. Amidst all this, the foreign policy of Bangladesh has been revolving around India during the 15 years of former Sheikh Hasina government. During this time, India became the biggest trade partner in Bangladesh, but also had limited relations with China and Pakistan.
