UP Petrol Price Today: A big change has been seen in the prices of petrol in Uttar Pradesh today. There has been relief in Varanasi and Lucknow, while petrol became costlier in Prayagraj and Noida. Know what is the new rate of petrol in your city today and how much has the price changed.

Lucknow Petrol Price Today: Today, both relief and shock have been seen in the prices of petrol in Uttar Pradesh. Oil companies have released new rates in different districts of the state, in which at some places there has been a decline in prices and at other places the increase has spoiled the budget of the common people. The special thing was that the biggest relief was seen in Varanasi, while the biggest jump in petrol prices was seen in Prayagraj.

Today was a different day for drivers leaving home in the morning, depending on the city. People did get some relief in many big cities including the capital Lucknow, but in cities like Noida and Agra, the impact on the pockets has increased due to the cost of petrol.

Biggest decline in Varanasi, relief in Lucknow too

The biggest reduction in petrol prices was recorded today in Varanasi, the city of Baba Vishwanath. Here petrol decreased from Rs 102.62 per liter to Rs 101.98 per liter. That means, there is a relief of 64 paise per liter in a single day. Amidst the ever increasing inflation, this reduction is being considered as a relief news for the drivers.

Petrol has also become cheaper in the capital Lucknow. Here today petrol is being sold at Rs 101.86 per liter, whereas yesterday its price was Rs 102.05. That means the people of Lucknow have got a relief of 19 paise per liter today.

In Meerut too, petrol prices have decreased by 11 paise. The new price here has become Rs 101.61 per litre. Whereas in Ghaziabad, petrol has become cheaper by 7 paise and reached Rs 101.73 per liter.

Minor relief has been seen in Kanpur city. Here petrol has become cheaper by 3 paise and the new price has been recorded at Rs 101.56 per liter. There has also been a slight decline of 2 paise per liter in Gorakhpur.

Biggest jump in Prayagraj, prices increased in Noida too

While there was relief in some cities, today proved to be a costly day for the people of Prayagraj. The biggest increase in petrol prices has been recorded here. Today petrol is being sold at Rs 99.13 per liter in Prayagraj, whereas yesterday its price was Rs 98.26. That means there has been a direct increase of 87 paise per liter in one day. Noida, an important part of Delhi-NCR, was also included among the cities with expensive petrol. Here today petrol has reached Rs 102.38 per liter. There has been an increase of 26 paise per liter as compared to yesterday. Oil prices have also increased in Taj city Agra. Here petrol has become costlier by 4 paise to Rs 101.68 per litre.

Prices did not change in Moradabad

Moradabad of Uttar Pradesh remained the district where there was no change in the prices of petrol. Even today petrol is being sold here at the price of Rs 102.17 per litre. That means yesterday and today’s rates remained exactly the same.

Petrol and diesel prices in India are updated daily. Oil companies release new rates every morning keeping in mind many factors like the price of crude oil in the international market, the position of the rupee against the dollar and taxes. This is the reason why there is difference in fuel prices in different cities.
