It is being said that about Rs 200 crore in cash and several boxes of diamonds and jewelery have been stolen. And not a single FIR has been registered. Neither the UP Police has filed an FIR, nor the ED nor the CBI has filed an FIR.”

  • Kejriwal’s comments come amid the ongoing investigation into allegations related to offerings in the Ram temple. On Saturday, Hanuman Garhi chief priest Mahant Sanjay Das had expressed confidence in the Special Investigation Team (SIT) formed by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. He had said that the investigation will reveal the truth and strict action should be taken against whoever is found guilty.
  • Mahant Shashikant Das also appealed to the people to be patient and wait for the results of the SIT investigation. Meanwhile, retired engineer Dinanath Verma, who was earlier associated with Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, has reportedly leveled corruption-related allegations against trust member Dr. Anil Mishra.
