Pollution scared: 50% government employees of Delhi will do WFH, office timings will also change

Due to air pollution in Delhi, 50% government employees will work from home. Office timings have also been changed from November 15 to February 15. At the same time, the police did not allow a public protest against pollution.

New Delhi: Due to severe air pollution, work from home has been announced for fifty percent of the employees in Delhi government offices. Besides, the working hours of government offices have also been changed. This new time table will be applicable in the winter season from 15 November to 15 February. Currently, government offices in Delhi work from 9:30 am to 6 pm. According to the new time table, office timings will be from 10 am to 6:30 pm. The current timings of municipal corporations are from 9 am to 5:30 pm. From November 15 it will be from 8:30 am to 5 pm.

At the same time, it was decided to hold a public protest yesterday against the government’s failure to control pollution. This demonstration was to take place in front of India Gate at 5 pm. But, the police did not allow this demonstration.
