America’s big proposal to Iran
Before the meeting, America has made an important proposal to Iran. According to reports, Washington wants Iran to allow inspection of its nuclear sites where enriched uranium is suspected to be kept. In return, America has proposed to give Iran access to a fund worth $6 billion. It is being told that this amount is frozen in Qatar. If progress is made toward the deal, Iran will be able to use the funds to provide food, medicine, reconstruction and other humanitarian needs.

Not just nuclear issue, regional peace is also at stake
This meeting to be held in Switzerland is not limited to the nuclear program only. This dialogue can also prove to be a new beginning of trust and stability in the Middle East. If trust is established between the two parties in the initial phase, significant progress is possible towards resolution of long standing disputes. However, the success of the talks will largely depend on what stance Iran takes on the US proposal. The message emanating from today’s meeting may influence global politics and regional security equations in the coming days.
