Baahubali The Epic Teaser: Cinema fans are in for an exciting August as two of the most anticipated films of 2025, Rajinikanth’s Coolie and Hrithik Roshan’s War 2 are set to clash at the box office on 14 August. The buzz has only grown stronger with recent reports revealed a special surprise for audiences. The very first look of Prabhas’ Baahubali The Epic will be unveiled in cinemas alongside these releases. Baahubali: The Epic is a combined version of the two blockbuster hits from the franchise Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali: The Conclusion.
According to a report in Gulte, anyone watching either Coolie or War 2 in theatres on 14th August will get to see this exclusive teaser. The combined film is set to hit cinemas worldwide on 31 October 2025 in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi. Celebrating the milestone, Rajamouli posted on X (formerly Twitter) on 10 July with the caption, “Baahubali… the beginning of many journeys. Countless memories. Endless inspiration. It’s been 10 years. Marking this special milestone with #BaahubaliTheEpic, a two-part combined film. In theatres worldwide on October 31, 2025.” Both original films, directed by SS Rajamouli, received huge praise for their gripping storytelling, spectacular visuals, and powerful performances. The cast featured Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, and Tamannaah Bhatia in key roles.

About Rajinikanth’s Coolie Movie
Coolie, Rajinikanth’s 171st film, is a Tamil action thriller also starring Nagarjuna, Aamir Khan, and Shruti Haasan. The movie has created huge excitement among fans, and early ticket sales show it is leading the box office race ahead of the long holiday weekend. According to Sacnilk, Coolie has already grossed Rs 10.26 crore from 4.91 lakh tickets sold for Day 1. The Tamil version dominates with Rs 10 crore from 4.88 lakh tickets, highlighting Rajinikanth’s unmatched popularity in the South. The Hindi version has brought in around Rs 5 lakh, while Telugu and Kannada versions have added Rs 1.4 lakh and Rs 42,000 respectively.

About Hrithik Roshan’s War 2 Movie
On the other side of the clash, War 2 stars Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR, and Kiara Advani in lead roles. The film is a sequel to the 2019 hit War. So far, it has grossed Rs 34.34 lakh from 9,295 tickets sold. The Hindi 2D format leads earnings with Rs 1.3 lakh, followed by Tamil and Telugu versions at Rs 1.33 lakh and Rs 72,180 respectively. Notably, the Hindi IMAX 2D format alone has generated Rs 87,360 from just 97 tickets.
With two major releases and the added bonus of Baahubali: The Epic’s first look, 14th August promises to be a memorable day for Indian cinema lovers.
