NEET Center entry given after strictness

  • The girls’ nose pins were removed and tape was pasted on the student’s nose.
  • The wrists of the boys’ hands were also removed. Along with this, bracelets and smart watches were also taken out.
  • Even the earrings of the students were removed.
  • At many centres, the metal buttons on the T-shirts of the candidates and the threads tied on their hands were cut.
  • At one centre, when a student came wearing a full sleeve t-shirt, the sleeves of his shirt were cut and he was sent inside.
  • At many centres, Muslim girl students were given entry after removing their hijab.

Student commits suicide before exam in Hyderabad

Let us tell you that a 19 year old NEET student in Hyderabad committed suicide due to fear of re-exam. That means, a few hours before the exam, he committed suicide by hanging himself in his room. Policemen deployed till the parking of the center

  • Tight security arrangements have been made in Gujarat, Chandigarh and Uttar Pradesh for NEET exam. The examination has started from 2 pm on Sunday. The authorities have deployed policemen, nodal officers and monitoring teams to conduct the examination peacefully and without any disturbances. Police were managing the parking arrangements and checking at the entry points.

Police deployed everywhere in UP

  • Even in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, security is tight outside the examination center for the re-examination of NEET-UG 2026.
  • Additional Police Commissioner (Law and Order) Shiv Hari Meena said that Varanasi Police has made extensive preparations. For this, meetings were held with different departments and the officials themselves went to the ground and examined the arrangements.
  • He said police and magistrates have been deployed as per the prescribed protocol, which also includes special arrangements for traffic management.
