What is Infant Darshan Facility?

Infant Darshan facility is for parents whose child is below 1 year of age. Under this facility, parents can enter the temple directly from Supatham Gate with their child. This gate is specially designed for VIPs and darshan with small children. This provides complete relief to the devotees from the hassle of long queues and tokens. The most important thing is that no online or offline booking is required for this darshan.

Entry place and time

For infant darshan, devotees have to enter through Supatham Gate. This gate is connected to the main road of the temple complex and can be easily identified. The time limit for darshan with a small child has been fixed from 12 noon to 6 pm. However, it would be better if you arrive in the early hours to avoid the crowd and have darshan of the Lord.

Documents required for infant darshan

  • It is mandatory to show some documents during darshan so that the age of the child and the identity of the parents can be certified.
  • All you need to carry is the child’s birth certificate or hospital discharge summary and Aadhar card or PVC card of both the parents.
  • If the crowd is large, the temple administration sometimes allows only one parent to go inside with the child.
