The final release date of Kannada superstar Yash’s upcoming film ‘Toxic’ has been revealed. Yash himself has announced this on social media on the occasion of Father’s Day on Sunday.
KGF star Yash’s most awaited film ‘Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-ups’ is finally ready with a new release date. For the last several months, there were continuous changes regarding the release of the film, due to which the curiosity among the fans was increasing. Now on the occasion of Father’s Day on Sunday, the makers have officially announced the new release date of this film. This news will obviously be a relief for those fans of Yash, who are continuously waiting for its release.
When will Yash’s film ‘Toxic’ be released?
The makers of the film have announced the release date of ‘Toxic’ with a new poster. Now this film will be released in theaters worldwide on 26 August 2026. This announcement, which came after a long wait, has further increased the excitement of Yash’s fans. Yash has also issued a special message to his fans while announcing the new release date of the film. He wrote in his post, “Respect your father… #Toxic now in theaters worldwide from 26-08-2026.” As soon as this post came out, the discussion about the film intensified on social media and fans started expressing excitement about the release date.

Why was the release of ‘Toxic’ postponed?
The release journey of the film has been full of ups and downs. In December 2025, the makers announced the release date as 19 March 2026. Ranveer Singh’s film ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ was also going to be released on the same day, which created the possibility of a big box office clash. However, the increasing tension and regional instability in the Middle East later affected the international release of the film. The producers then announced on 4 March that the film had been moved from 19 March to 4 June 2026.

The new date of June 4, 2026 also could not be maintained and the film had to be pushed forward once again. Now the makers have locked 26th August 2026 as the final release date. With this, fans are hopeful that the film will now reach theaters on time.
Yash’s responsibility increased, he also became a writer and producer.
Apart from being the lead actor, Yash is also playing the role of writer and producer in ‘Toxic’. The film is directed by National Award winning filmmaker Geetu Mohandas. The audience has high expectations from this project from Geetu, who is known for his different storytelling style. The film is produced under the banner of KVN Productions. Along with Yash, Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmani Vasant will also be seen in important roles in this film.
