Wife and lover arrested for murder of husband in Meerut. After the husband found out about the illicit relationship, at the behest of the wife, the lover shot her 3 times. The police have arrested both of them.
Meerut: In Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, a young man’s wife and lover have been arrested in connection with the murder. Anjali, mother of three children, and her lover Ajay have been caught. Anjali’s husband Rahul was murdered. Police said that husband Rahul came to know about Anjali’s relationship with Ajay, after which the murder took place.
Rahul’s body was found in a field and there were three bullet marks on his body. The police initially thought that perhaps a robber gang had murdered him. When called to take the statement, it was found that Anjali was not there. After this, police investigation revealed that Anjali had a relationship with someone else in the same village. Police reached Ajay’s house in search of him, but he was not found.
When both of them were found and interrogated, Ajay confessed to his crime. Ajay told that Anjali was upset after her husband came to know about the relationship and on his insistence she killed Rahul. Ajay called Rahul to meet him near the farm. When Rahul reached there, Ajay shot him three times. Both of them absconded after the funeral. The police arrested both of them and presented them in the court, from where they were sent on remand.
