A golden opportunity has come for the youth dreaming of service service. The Indian Air Force (IAF) has issued an official notification for the recruitment of Airman Group-Y posts. This is a great opportunity for candidates who want to join the Air Force and serve the nation.
Online applications will start from 11 July 2025 under the recruitment process and the last date has been fixed on 31 July 2025.
Interested candidates can apply by visiting the official website of the Air Force armenselection.cdac.in. Although the total number of posts has not been announced at the moment, the recruitment process will be done completely on the basis of transparent and merit.
What should be the eligibility?
To apply in this recruitment, the candidate will have to score a minimum of 50 percent marks with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English subjects in 12th standard from the Board recognized by the Government of India. Apart from this, candidates who have done diploma or BSc in pharmacy can also apply, provided their marks are also at least 50%.
Will get good salary
Selected candidates will get 14,600 per month stipend during the first training. After completion of training, he will be given a salary of about 26,900 per month under the military pay scale. Apart from this, other allowances and facilities will also be made available by the Indian Air Force.
Physical criteria is also necessary
To join the Air Force, not only studies, fitness is also necessary. The length, weight, chest width and hearing power of the candidate should be according to the Air Force set standards. The minimum circumference of the chest should be 77 cm and the power to hear should be so that the whisper can be heard from 6 meters away.
How will the selection process be?
Candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination, in which 12th level questions related to English, Reasoning and General Awareness will be asked. The duration of the exam will be 45 minutes. It will get 1 point on the correct answer while 0.25 marks will be deducted on the wrong answer.
