Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal, who recently got married, were seen outside Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital on June 29, after which the news came out that Shatrughan Sinha is admitted in the hospital. It was being said that he was admitted for a regular health checkup. Now Shatrughan Sinha’s son Luv Sinha’s reaction has come to the fore on this.
Luv confirmed the news of his father’s hospitalization in a conversation with the Indian Express. He said, “Dad had viral fever and was also feeling weak for the last few days. So we decided to admit him to the hospital.”
However, before this, Shatrughan Sinha was constantly in the news regarding his daughter Sonakshi’s marriage. It was being said that he was not happy with Sonakshi’s marriage with Zaheer Iqbal and he would not even attend the wedding. However, this did not happen, he attended the wedding and blessed his daughter and son-in-law.
When did Sonakshi and Zaheer get married?
Sonakshi and Zaheer got married on 23 June. First, both of them got their marriage registered under the Special Marriage Act and then after that, they organized a grand party at Bastian Restaurant in Mumbai, in which many film stars including Salman Khan, Kajol, Tabu, Rekha, Huma Qureshi, Saqib Saleem, Ali Fazal, Richa Chadha attended.
However, Shatrughan Sinha has been working in Bollywood for almost 55 years. He started with a small role in the film ‘Saajan’ released in the year 1969, after which he played many great characters and entertained people a lot. He is also active in politics. He has won the 2024 Lok Sabha elections on behalf of the TMC party. He was elected MP from the Lok Sabha seat of West Bengal. Earlier, he had also won from this seat in the 2022 by-election.
