Dr. Jain explains that any food with high fat affects your BP. In such a situation you should avoid it. If you feel hungry between meals, eat a healthy snack like fruit or plain yogurt. While going out, carry a handful of nuts and dry fruits with you. But never eat things like paratha with excess oil or ghee. Try to drink low fat milk and also include green vegetables and seasonal fruits in your diet. This will keep your BP under control.

Liquor

If BP remains high and you drink alcohol, then leave it. Drinking too much alcohol can increase blood pressure and lead to weight gain over time. Alcohol is also harmful for your liver. In such a situation, if you do not consume it, your health will remain good.
