Madhya Pradesh’s daughter and World Cup winning female cricketer Kranti Gaur was honored by CM Dr. Mohan Yadav. In the program, the Chief Minister announced the new cricket stadium in Chhatarpur and the restoration of his father. Kranti shared the story of his struggle and success.

Bhopal. Madhya Pradesh’s cricket talent and World Cup winning team member Kranti Gaur was given special honor at the Chief Minister’s residence on Thursday. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav not only appreciated the achievements of Kranti but also announced efforts for the restoration of his father. Kranti’s parents Munnalal Gaur and Neelam Gaur, as well as coach Rajeev Birthare were also present on the occasion.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the daughters of the state are performing excellently in every field today. He said, “Daughters like Kranti are the inspiration of our society. They have transformed struggles into success and have proved that no goal is impossible with hard work and determination.”

During the program, the Chief Minister appealed to everyone to make fitness and yoga a part of life. He said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given yoga recognition globally. Players become not only physically but also mentally strong through yoga and meditation.”

The Chief Minister recalled that in his childhood he used to take bath in Shipra river with his mother and said that being involved in sports maintains discipline and energy in life.

New cricket stadium in Chhatarpur and announcement of honor on Birsa Munda birth anniversary

CM Dr. Yadav said that a new cricket stadium will be built in Chhatarpur district, so that the talents of rural areas can come forward. He also announced that Kranti Gaur will be given special honor in Jabalpur on Birsa Munda Jayanti on 15th November.

World Cup winning player Kranti Gaur said that winning the World Cup is an unforgettable moment of her life. He said, “There was a time when I got food only once a day. But I did not give up and continued working hard.”

Kranti told that she worked hard on her fitness and even gave up sweets. Yoga and meditation kept him mentally strong. He said, “We played the semi-final for a 4-month-old girl whose mother wanted to become a cricketer. That moment gave us extra energy.”

Kranti described meeting Prime Minister Modi as the “most inspiring moment” of his life and said that every young sportsperson should keep fighting for their dreams.

State government is giving new direction to sports

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the Madhya Pradesh government is making continuous efforts for the development of sports facilities. He announced plans towards modernizing the training centres, stadium and fitness facilities for the players.
