Ingredients of Mushroom Soup
To make this soup, you will need two cups of sliced mushrooms (You can choose any variety like cremini mushroom, white button mushroom, shiitake mushroom, porcini mushroom which gives a very rich taste.), one cup chopped onion, two spoons finely chopped garlic, two spoons butter, half spoon dry herbs mix, 1 cup vegetable stock (water from boiled vegetables is optional), two spoons fresh cream, salt as per taste, black pepper powder.
Make soup like this
- First of all, take a wide and heavy bottom pan, melt butter in it and add garlic and fry.
- When the garlic becomes soft, add onion to it and fry it on medium flame for two minutes, keep in mind that it should not burn at all.
- When onion-garlic is ready, add mushrooms to it and fry for 4 minutes. Keep stirring it with a ladle in between.
- Now add mixed herbs, black pepper powder and vegetable stock and boil it well for 4 to 5 minutes.
- Let the prepared mushroom cool down, after that put it in a mixer jar and prepare a smooth paste.

- Put the prepared mixture again in a deep pan and add fresh cream along with a cup of water or vegetable stock to it.
- Cook the mushroom paste on medium flame for at least 3 more minutes. After this, add salt to it at the very end.
- In this way your rich creamy soup will be prepared which is a great meal in winters. You can also serve it with toasted multigrain bread.
