Rules for serving Laddu Gopal in Margashirsha month

  • In this month, Laddu Gopal should be picked up with care and affection by clapping seven times in the morning.
  • Every day in this month, Laddu Gopal should be bathed before sunrise.
  • After bathing Laddu Gopal, he should be decorated and dressed in clean clothes.
  • After this, saffron tilak should be applied on Laddu Gopal.
  • In this month, one should not apply sandalwood tilak to Laddu Gopal even by mistake. Because sandalwood is cold.
  • The bell must be rung during the Aarti of Laddu Gopal.
  • In this month, sesame and jaggery should be offered to Laddu Gopal during puja. Hot milk and sweet paratha should also be offered. Seasonal fruits and vegetables can also be offered.
  • At the time of puja, one should meditate on Laddu Gopal and chant the mantra Krim Krishnaya Namah 108 times. Laddu Gopal will be pleased with this chanting and will maintain his blessings.
  • In this month, every day after the puja, Laddu Gopal should be taken to the sun and made to sleep for some time. Laddu should be offered to Gopal again at eight o’clock in the night. Then one should be patted and put to sleep.
