The Meteorological Department has warned that due to the impact of western disturbance, there may be increase in rain and cold in many states of North India in the coming days.
There will be heavy rain in these states
According to the Meteorological Department, today Uttar Pradesh, Delhi-NCR, Bihar, Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab and Madhya Pradesh will be cloudy and there may be light rain with thunderstorms at some places. At the same time, there is a possibility of snowfall and rain in hilly states like Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Heavy rain may occur in some areas of South India and Northeast during the next 24 hours.

Cold and fog hit Uttar Pradesh and Bihar
The effect of western disturbance is clearly visible in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Jammu and Kashmir. There is continuous snowfall in the high altitude areas. A thick layer of snow has accumulated in Rohtang, Baralacha and Kunjum passes. There is a possibility of rain and snowfall today in Chamoli, Rudraprayag and Dehradun districts of Uttarakhand. At present the weather will be normal in Uttar Pradesh, but the cold will increase during night and morning. The minimum temperature here is expected to be between 17 to 18 degrees and the maximum is expected to be between 29 to 30 degrees Celsius. The sky will remain clear in Bihar, although there may be light clouds in some areas. The Meteorological Department has predicted a gradual increase in cold and fog till November 10.
