Sulakshana Pandit, who was difficult to recognize at the last moment, was a popular Bollywood actress and singer, who worked in more than 25 films in the 1970s and 1980s. She belonged to the Mewati Gharana of Indian classical music. As an actress, she worked with stars like Jeetendra, Sanjeev Kumar, Rajesh Khanna, Vinod Khanna, Shashi Kapoor and Shatrughan Sinha.
