First of all, know that wheat is a complex carbohydrate, which has high amount of gluten. In such a situation, gluten free people should avoid eating it.
Is wheat flour harmful?
According to Dr. Shubham, if you eat wheat flour daily then it can prove harmful. Because if you eat wheat flour bread every day, there may be a sudden sugar spike after eating it. Which causes weight gain and fatty liver after a long time.
How to consume wheat flour
However, there is no need to completely remove wheat flour from your diet. You can eat it in small quantities or by mixing it with some other flour, its glycemic index also reduces. In such a situation, if you are a sugar patient then eat jowar mixed with wheat flour. If you want to increase protein intake then adding millet flour can be beneficial. Apart from this, to overcome iron deficiency, ragi flour is best. All three flours are rich in nutrients, which help in weight loss and removing iron and protein deficiency.
