Chhattisgarh Farmer Yojana: In Chhattisgarh, farmers are going to be given insurance facilities. It will be launched on 11 August. For this, preparations have also started in government offices.
Chhattisgarh farmer yojana insurance: Under the Pradhan Mantri Crop Insurance Scheme of the Union Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare of the Central Government, a total of Rs 152 crore 84 lakh 62 thousand is being provided to 1 lakh 41 thousand 879 farmers of the state. This includes payment of Rs 10 crore 25 lakh 97 thousand to 33 thousand 943 eligible farmers of Kharif season 2024 and Rs 142 crore 58 lakh 65 thousand to one lakh 7 thousand 936 eligible farmers of Rabi season 2024-25.
Government will benefit farmers on this date
This payment will be held on 11 August 2025 (Monday) in a program organized in Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan under the chairmanship of Union Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chauhan through nationwide direct profit transfer based automatic system. The Chief Guest of the program organized on this occasion will be the Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Mr. Bhajan Lal Sharma. Union Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Shri Bhagirath Chaudhary, Rajasthan Agriculture Minister Dr. Kishori Lal Meena will be the special guest in the program.
When will the program start, preparations started in government offices
This program will start from 12 noon. Screening and other essential things are being made in the offices of Agriculture Department at the district and block level to connect farmers through online. So that farmers can easily become part of it. The Chief Minister’s Chhattisgarh government said on this occasion that economic security of farmers is our highest priority. Effective programs like Pradhan Mantri Crop Insurance Scheme are playing an important role in bringing farmers from natural disasters and crop loss. This claim payment will further strengthen the trust and self -reliance of our farmers. Our government is determined to make agriculture profitable, expansion of irrigation facilities, spread modern technology and take the agriculture of the state to new heights through crop diversification.
