Prime Minister Modi is going to give a big rail gift to Varanasi during his visit to Kashi. He will flag off the Varanasi-Khajuraho Vande Bharat Express from Banaras station, while virtually flagging off the Lucknow-Saharanpur, Firozpur-Delhi, Ernakulam-Bengaluru Vande Bharat trains.
PM Modi Varanasi Visit: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to visit Kashi on Friday for two days. This time the people of Kashi are going to get great facilities from the Railways. PM Modi will launch 4 new Vande Bharat Express trains from his parliamentary constituency. The most special among these is Varanasi to Khajuraho Vande Bharat, which will directly connect Kashi with the historical and religious places of Central India. This step will not only save time of travelers but will also give a big boost to religious tourism, economic activities and local tourism business.
PM Modi’s complete schedule for Varanasi
The Prime Minister will reach Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport Babatpur at 6 pm on November 7, where he will be welcomed by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Governor Anandiben Patel and other officials. After this, PM will go to Bareka (Banaras Railway Engine Factory) and the next day on 8th November, his main program will be held at Banaras station. Where the PM will not only flag off the Vande Bharat trains, but will also interact with prominent citizens and representatives of the city.
Which four Vande Bharat trains will start?
The Prime Minister will gift 4 Vande Bharat Express to the country from Banaras station on November 8. Among these, a special train will run between Varanasi and Khajuraho, which is considered a big gift for the people of Kashi and Purvanchal. The Prime Minister will flag off this train from Banaras (East Manduwadih) railway station. Apart from this, 3 Vande Bharat Express from Lucknow to Saharanpur, Firozpur to Delhi and Ernakulam to Bengaluru among other places will be flagged off virtually. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will also be present on the occasion of the inauguration of the trains. The Prime Minister can also interact with dignitaries at Banaras Railway Station.
Tourism industry will get a new dimension
The direct connectivity of Banaras-Khajuraho Vande Bharat Express will save time of approximately 2 hours 40 minutes compared to the special trains currently operating. Banaras–Khajuraho Vande Bharat Express will connect India’s religious tourism and cultural destinations Varanasi, Prayagraj, Chitrakoot and Khajuraho. This connectivity will not only strengthen religious and cultural tourism but will also provide pilgrims and travelers a fast, modern and comfortable travel experience to Khajuraho, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This train will also give a new dimension to the tourism industry.
PM Modi will be given a warm welcome
BJP workers will welcome Prime Minister Narendra Modi at different places on November 7. BJP workers will welcome the Prime Minister near Sant Atulanand Bypass, JP Mehta, Bareka FCI Godown, Bareka Gate. The Prime Minister will also interact with 3200 intellectuals in Varanasi. The event will be attended by the city’s academicians, industrialists, social workers and experts from various fields.
