What is PM Kisan Yojana?
Under PM Kisan Yojana, the government provides financial assistance of Rs 6,000 to farmers every year. This money is sent directly to the bank account of the farmers in three installments. Its first installment comes between April to July, the second from August to November and the third installment from December to March. So far 20 installments have been released and now it is the turn of the 21st installment.
What is the latest update on PM Kisan 21st installment?
According to media reports, this installment can be released by the first or second week of November but in some reports it is being said that this installment can come after the results of Bihar elections. The first phase of voting in Bihar concluded today, Thursday, while the second phase of voting will be cast on November 11. The election results will come on November 14. In such a situation, it is expected that the situation regarding release of installment may become clear after November 14. However, no official date has been announced yet by the Central Government.
Can the 21st installment of PM Kisan be stopped for some farmers?
According to reports, physical verification is going on in many accounts. That is, in cases like problem in Aadhaar and bank account linking, wrong bank information, duplicate or suspicious entry, the installment can be stopped until the investigation is completed.
How to check the status of PM Kisan 21st installment?
- Go to the official website of PM Kisan https://pmkisan.gov.in/.
- Click on ‘Know Your Status’ or ‘Beneficiary Status’ on the homepage
- Enter your Aadhaar number, mobile number or PM Kisan ID.
- Click on ‘Get Data’.
- It will be visible on the screen whether the money will come or if there is any problem.
- If your status shows ‘Hold’ or ‘Verification’ then go to the nearest CSC or support center and get Aadhaar eKYC and bank verification done.
