Pramod Rastogi, a jeweler by profession, living in Brahmpuri area of Meerut, recently pasted a poster of “Makan Bikau Hai” at his house. According to local people, the poster was removed after a few hours. But this step made it clear that the Rastogi family has now reached the peak of social pressure and mental stress.

Jewelery business came to a standstill after the murder
After the incident, the financial condition of the Rastogi family has deteriorated badly. Pramod Rastogi’s jewelery shop is now almost closed. Customers have stopped coming. Muskan’s brother has lost his job, while the tuition center run by her mother is also now lying vacant, because people have stopped sending their children there.

Society boycotted, relatives broke contact
According to neighbours, the relatives have now distanced themselves from the Rastogi family. They are not being invited to any wedding or social event. People are neither coming to talk nor to meet. Gradually the entire family has become a victim of social isolation.

Neighbor Sanjay told, “Pramod ji has been troubled since the day of Diwali. Sometimes he is seen crying, sometimes shouting. Yesterday morning also he was very restless, then an ambulance was called and he was taken to the hospital. He had put up a poster of selling the house, but later removed it himself. It seems, he is in deep depression.”
That night of March 3, when Muskaan created a bloody game
According to the information, on the night of March 3, 2025, 28-year-old Muskaan Rastogi, along with her lover Sahil Shukla, killed her husband Saurabh Rajput. Both of them sealed the dead body in a blue drum and went out to visit Himachal without any worries. After returning on March 17, when they tried to dispose of the body, the police exposed the entire secret on March 18. At present both the accused are in jail.

After this murder, the Rastogi family has been devastated at all three levels – economic, social and mental. While on one hand the daughter is in jail, on the other hand the father is fighting depression and the family is completely cut off from the society.
