New Delhi: Farhan Akhtar is back with a powerful war drama that celebrates true heroism. The trailer for 120 Bahadur has just been unveiled by K.G.F star Yash, showing Farhan as Major Shaitan Singh Bhati, a brave Indian Army officer during the 1962 India-China war.

Set to release on November 21, this movie honours the courage of 120 soldiers who fought valiantly in the Battle of Rezang-La. The story is a tribute to patriotism and sacrifice.

Farhan Akhtar shines as Major Shaitan Singh in the upcoming war drama 120 Bahadur. The trailer, released recently by K.G.F star Yash, highlights the fearless leadership of Major Singh Bhati, who commanded 120 soldiers during the 1962 Indo-China War. The powerful two-minute-48-second trailer captures the intense battle scenes and the heroic spirit of these soldiers. Farhan’s portrayal honours the unmatched bravery of Major Shaitan Singh and his troops, who fought to defend their nation in the high-altitude region of Ladakh.

The movie also briefly features Raashii Khanna and is directed by Razneesh Ghai, with the screenplay written by Rajiv G Menon. The film’s music is composed by Amit Trivedi, with legendary lyricist Javed Akhtar penning the songs. Produced under the banner of Excel Entertainment by Farhan, Ritesh Sidhwani, and Amit Chandrra, this movie promises to be a moving tribute to the soldiers of the 13 Kumaon Regiment.

Farhan took to Instagram last year to share his excitement about shooting in Ladakh, where the actual Battle of Rezang La took place. He wrote, “Back in Ladakh after Lakshya and Bhaag Milkha Bhaag to shoot for a very special film. Details to be revealed soon. Watch this space.” Rezang La, situated at an altitude of 18,000 feet, was defended by 120 soldiers led by Major Shaitan Singh. Despite being outnumbered and eventually overrun, these soldiers inflicted heavy losses on the Chinese forces.

Alongside 120 Bahadur, Farhan Akhtar is also preparing for his next directorial, Don 3, starring Ranveer Singh and Kiara Advani. Meanwhile, Yash will soon appear in Geetu Mohandas’ Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups, set to release on March 19, 2026. He also has Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana, featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi, which is scheduled for a Diwali 2026 release, with its sequel coming the next Diwali.
