Delhi Traffic Advisory Today: Delhi traffic police has issued an advisory about diverted vehicle movement near Thyagraj Stadium on Sunday.
The movement of any type of vehicle is restricted near the stadium due to the Tiranga Run taking place on the road from 6 am to 9 am today.
Delhi traffic police in an X post has shared details regarding the closed road and alternate routes to opt for. The traffic restriction is in place from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and will be lifted thereafter. The authorities have made special arrangements to facilitate smooth participation and prevent traffic disruptions; however, some stretches near the Thyagraj Stadium are closed.
Delhi Traffic Advisory On Sunday: Alternate Routes
– Safdarjung Airport Flyover: Vehicles from Sarojini Nagar heading to Thyagraj Stadium via Jagannath Marg will be diverted to Aurobindo Marg.
– INA Metro Station T-Point: Traffic bound for Gujjar Chowk via Chandu Lal Valmiki Marg will be restricted. Motorists can use Ring Road via AIIMS Loop or continue straight on Aurobindo Marg.
– 2nd Avenue-Jor Bagh Crossing: Vehicles from Jor Bagh towards 4th Avenue Road will be diverted at 2nd Avenue-Jor Bagh Crossing.
Delhi Traffic Advisory Today: Heavy Traffic Expected On THESE Roads
The following roads are expected to experience heavy traffic:
– Jagannath Marg
– Chandu Lal Valmiki Marg
– 4th Avenue Road
– Lodhi Road
Police, ambulance, fire brigade, and other emergency services will retain unrestricted access despite diversions.
