Shreya and Amit, who now live in Thailand, recently shared their experience in an Instagram post. He made it clear that India will always be special to him, but after coming to Thailand, his daily life has become much better.

The couple captioned the video, “India will always be our home. But after spending some time in Thailand, we realized that the quality of our daily life is better here. The rent is similar to many tier-1 cities in India, but the lifestyle that comes with it is very different.”

According to him, the biggest difference is not less expenses, but a more relaxed and easier way of living. He said that there may not be a 10-minute delivery service in Thailand, but there is no need for it because there is a 7-Eleven store every few hundred meters. He said, “No, we don’t have 10-minute delivery. But when there’s a 7-Eleven store every few hundred meters, you hardly need that.” The couple also cited safety as a major reason behind their satisfaction in Thailand. Shreya explained that traveling alone, especially at night, feels a lot less stressful.

Shreya further said, “As a woman, I don’t feel like I am taking any risk while returning home late at night. I don’t have to be alert all the time.” However, what was most special for the couple was ‘time’, which today’s urban people struggle with every day. “And perhaps the biggest thing: time. Life doesn’t feel like it’s spent in traffic. There’s less time to commute. More time to walk. More time to sit in a cafĂ© and work. And more time to spend together.” Social media users also agreed with his words and many people admitted that they also feel the same about the lifestyle in Thailand.
