How are the preparations for NEET exam in Delhi?

In the capital Delhi, investigation is going on to finalize the arrangements at different centres. An observer visiting the Government Boys Senior Secondary (GBSS) School in Ashok Vihar, Delhi expressed satisfaction over the facilities. He told ANI, “Everything has been checked and found fit for the examination. Five schools here have been made centres. This is the first centre, now we have to go to the remaining centres.”

How are the arrangements at NEET center in Prayagraj?

  • On the other hand, District Magistrate (DM) Manish Kumar Verma in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh told about the major arrangements made in the district. He said, “NEET exam is to be held at 47 centers in Prayagraj district, in which about 23,000 students will participate. Keeping in mind the sensitivity of this exam, we have made elaborate preparations.

A team of ARTO has been deployed to ensure that the students do not face any problem while returning and there is no problem of transport within the city. Hundreds of policemen deployed at centers from Ajmer to Kota

  • Ajmer district administration and Kota district administration have also completed all security arrangements for the re-examination of NEET-UG. Around 300 policemen will be deployed at the examination centers to conduct the examination in a peaceful and safe manner.
  • On security preparations, Ajmer’s Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Himanshu Jangid said that strict arrangements have been made at the examination centers in the district.
  • According to ASP, policemen have been instructed to remain alert and strictly follow the rules of the examination. The vehicles carrying question papers and answer sheets will be accompanied by armed guards, while the strong rooms at all examination centers will be under police surveillance.

NTA released NEET exam guidelines

  • NTA has advised the candidates to reach their examination center between 11 am to 1:30 pm. Keep in mind that the entry gates will close at 1:30 pm.
  • This exam will be held in pen-and-paper mode from 2 pm to 5:15 pm. More than 22.79 lakh candidates are expected to appear in this test to be held on June 21.
