Suryakumar Yadav: India’s T20I team captain Suryakumar Yadav is known for his explosive batting. At present, under his captaincy, Team India is busy playing T20I series in Australia. Even though Surya is the captain of the T20I team, he regrets one thing. To overcome this, former South African veteran player AB de Villiers has sought help. AB de Villiers Appealing to Surya, Surya said, “AB, if you are listening, please get in touch soon! I have three or four important years ahead of me and I am eager to make my mark in ODI cricket. Please help me. I am not able to balance between the two formats. Suryakumar Yadav has played 35 ODI innings so far, scoring 736 runs at an average of 25.76. This includes four half-centuries.
At the same time, De Villiers, one of the great players of South Africa, has scored 9,577 runs in 228 ODI matches for South Africa. This includes 25 centuries and 53 half-centuries. Suryakumar Yadav last played an ODI match two years ago. He played an innings of 18 runs against Australia in the final of the ODI World Cup in the year 2023.
