It is being told that after a dispute over changing the song, a 25-year-old dancer from Deoria district of Uttar Pradesh was attacked. The deceased has been identified as Sonu Gond, son of Umesh Gond, resident of Mahua Patan village of Tarkulwa police station area of ​​Deoria district. Police have taken one person into custody in this case and are taking further legal action.

According to the information, Sonu and four other dancers had come from Deoria on Thursday evening to perform at a wedding program in Jamuna Pati village of Katya police station area of ​​Bihar. While the program was going on, some of the audience present there demanded to play a particular song and dance on it. They were continuously putting pressure on the dancer. When their demands could not be met immediately, an altercation broke out between the accused and the dance group members.

Within no time the dispute escalated so much that one of the accused took out a gun and shot Sonu. Sonu was seriously injured by the bullet. He was immediately taken to the hospital, but his life could not be saved. Police said that a case has been registered at Katya Police Station under relevant sections of the Indian Justice Code. A massive raid is being conducted to nab the remaining accused who fled after the firing.
