Dev Diwali celebrated at Ganga Ghat in Kashi.
The full moon of Kartik month and the golden glow of more than 20 lakh lamps on the banks of Ganga… today the gods must be finding the splendor of heaven pale in comparison to Kashi. Diyas started lighting on the Ganga ghats of Varanasi from 5:30 in the evening and within no time the process of lighting lakhs of lamps started on all the 88 ghats, 96 ponds and ponds. Dev Diwali was celebrated with the lighting of three lakh lamps in Par Reti across Ganga and 50 thousand lamps on the banks of Varuna river.
By 6:30 in the evening, Kashi was bathed in the light of millions of lamps. The electric lights and fringes on the ghats were further enhancing this beauty. Different colors were visible from Namo Ghat to Assi Ghat. All the ghats were beautifully decorated and rangoli was made. CM Yogi, along with several ministers of his cabinet and Tourism Minister Jaiveer Singh, was touring the ghats by boarding a cruise from Namo Ghat to Assi.

Special Ganga Aarti was conducted at Namo Ghat, Dashashwamedh Ghat, Shitala Ghat and Assi Ghat from 6 pm to 6:50 pm. Ganga Aarti was performed for the first time on Dev Diwali at Namo Ghat. During this, many ministers of the state government including Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath were present. A record number of people were present in the Ganga Maha Aarti at Dashaswamedh Ghat.
Ganga Aarti dedicated to the martyrs of Pahalgam
21 Archakas and 42 Dev girls performed the Aarti. Here Ganga Maha Aarti was dedicated to Operation Sindoor. The Ganga Aarti of Gangotri Seva Samiti was dedicated to the martyrs of Pahalgam, while the Aarti of Assi Ghat was dedicated to the women’s cricket team that won the World Cup. A beautiful rangoli was also made for the women’s cricket team at Assi Ghat. Dev Diwali was celebrated on the theme of ‘I Love Kashi’ at Pandey Ghat.
Where did the laser show take place?
Projection and laser show took place in three stages for the audience at Chet Singh Ghat. The first show will run from 6:15 to 6:45 pm, while the second will run from 7:15 to 7:45 pm and the third show will run from 8:15 to 8:45 pm. In this laser show, mythological stories related to Mahadev were being shown to the audience. Green fireworks added charm in front of Lalita Ghat. More than 20 lakh people saw this grand Dev Diwali of Kashi.
