ISRO has made us a great power of the world in the field of space. If you want to launch satellite, many countries take the help of ISRO. From the journey of the moon to the monitoring of the sun, ISRO has achieved many such successes, which the world has considered its strength.
15 August 2025: After the freedom of the British from the slavery of 15 August 1947, India has made sharp progress in every region. Today we are the great power of the world in the field of space science. Our space agency ISRO is counted among the top 5 space agencies in the world. If you want to reach the satellite space for low cost, ISRO has no match. This is the reason why countries around the world launch their satellites from ISRO.
When was ISRO established?
In 1962, the Indian National Space Research Committee (Incospar) laid the foundation of India’s Space Program. ISRO (Indian Space Research Organization) was established in 1969. The achievements of ISRO have been extraordinary. From the launch of satellites that bring revolution in communication and remote sensing to mastered indigenous techniques like cryogenic propulsion system, ISRO established India as a global leader in the field of space. The US space agency NASA seeks opportunities to work with ISRO today.
10 big achievements of ISRO
Chandrayaan 3: Chandrayaan-3 successfully achieved a historic achievement by successfully landing at the southern pole of the moon on 23 August 2023. India is the first country to land on this part of the moon.

SSLV (Small Satellite Launch Vehicle): SSLV is a new rocket developed by ISRO. It is designed to meet the increasing demand for launching small satellites. The first flight of SSLV took place in February 2023.
Mission Shakti (Anti-Satellite Missile): Mission Shakti was successfully launched on 27 March 2019. It was an anti-satellite missile test. With this, India showed the world that it has the power to kill the satellite in space.
Launching of 104 satellites: On 15 February 2017, ISRO surprised the world by carrying 104 satellites in space simultaneously. So many satellites were never sent at a time.
Sailor: ISRO created India’s own navigation system. It has been officially operational since 2016. The system consists of seven satellites, which give information about the exact position and time.
Mars Mission: ISRO launched Mangalyaan Mission (MOM) in 2013. It was named Mangalyaan, which aims to go to unknown areas to expand the boundaries of search and highlight the secrets of the universe.
