This player will return to Team India

According to a report by ESPNcricinfo, Team India’s squad for this series has been selected, now it is yet to be announced. Wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant is ready to return to the Indian Test team for this series. Pant missed India’s last Test series against the West Indies as he was recovering from a leg injury suffered during the fourth Test against England in Manchester in July. However, he recently returned to the field by playing for India A and is now ready to enter Team India.

Rishabh Pant will be included for this series in place of N Jagadeesan, who was a part of Team India in the last series. Even during the England tour, N Jagadeesan was included in the team after Pant got injured. But his exclusion from the South Africa series is considered certain. Let us tell you, Pant proved his match fitness by captaining India A in the first four-day match against South Africa A at the BCCI Center of Excellence in Bengaluru last week.

Will be out without debut

N Jagadeesan has scored a lot of runs in domestic cricket for quite some time now. Due to which he has been able to make his place in Team India also, but he has not been able to make his international debut yet. In such a situation, Jagadeesan not getting a chance in South Africa means that he will have to wait longer for his debut. He is currently playing in Ranji Trophy.
