Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh has taken a big and welcome decision for outsourced employees. Now not only will the recruitment process be made more transparent, but the salary of the employees has also been decided keeping in mind their basic needs.
Under this new rule, posts like peon and watchman will get a minimum salary of Rs 20 thousand, while posts like doctor and engineer will get a minimum salary of Rs 40 thousand. This step will definitely bring a change in the lives of lakhs of employees.
Employees divided into four categories, salary fixed
Yogi government has divided outsourced employees into four different categories. The minimum salary for these categories has been fixed at Rs 20 thousand, 22 thousand, 25 thousand and 40 thousand. This will ensure that every employee gets fair salary as per his qualification and responsibility.
First category: Rs 40 thousand for doctor-engineer
The first category includes eight important posts, which include Doctor, Engineer (AE and SDO), Lecturer, Project Officer, Account Officer, Assistant Architect and Research Officer. All of them will get a minimum salary of Rs 40 thousand. Special educational qualifications have also been fixed for these posts. For example, MBBS for Doctor, B.Tech for Engineer, Post Graduate Degree for Lecturer, Post Graduation in Mathematics or Physics for Project Officer, M.Com with 5 years of experience or Chartered Accountant degree for Account Officer, Graduation in Architecture for Assistant Architect and Post Graduate Degree in Economics, Commerce, Mathematics or Statistics is required for Research Officer.
Second category: Minimum salary of Rs 25 thousand
The second category includes posts like Senior Assistant, Senior Stenographer, Senior Accountant, Data Processing Officer, Translator, Welfare Officer, Drawing Teacher, PTI Teacher, TGT, Draftsman, X-Ray Technician, Staff Nurse, Pharmacist, JE, Legal Assistant and Statistics Officer. All of them will get a salary of at least Rs 25 thousand.
Third category: Salary of Rs 22 thousand
In the third category, 17 posts have been kept, which include Junior Assistant, Junior Stenographer, Typist, Telephone Operator, Store Keeper, Photographer, Data Entry Operator, Librarian, Data Processing Assistant, Electrician, Mechanic, Fitter, Lab Assistant, Paramedical Staff, Supervisor, Manager and Driver. All of them will get a minimum salary of Rs 22 thousand.
Fourth category: Maximum 97 posts, salary 20 thousand
97 posts have been included in the largest fourth category. A minimum salary of Rs 20 thousand has been fixed for this category. For these posts, it is necessary to have 8th or 10th pass. This category includes Office Superintendent, Lift Operator, Lab Attendant, Record Assistant, Orderly, Anusevak, Store Assistant, Barber, Cobbler, Mason, Mate, Construction Assistant, Blacksmith, Blacksmith Assistant, Carpenter, Carpenter’s Assistant, Crane Operator, Helper, Painter, Labour, Road Mate, Welder Helper, Dak Runner, Chowkidar, Gardener, Peon, Ward Attendant, Labor Room. Posts like Attendant, Cook, Kitchen Bearer, Mess Helper, Pantryman, Kitchen Attendant, Electrician, Helper Lineman, Helper Plumber, Helper Welder, Sweeper, Fitter, Daftari, Pump Operator, Fireman, Gatekeeper and Library Attendant are included.
