Multiple Services Cancelled, Diverted Ahead Of PM Modi’s Visit For Vande Bharat, Namma Metro Yellow Line Launch

The disruptions are aimed at managing congestion and ensuring security during the high-profile event. Passengers have been advised to check updated schedules before travelling.

Full cancellations

On August 10, the following trains will remain fully cancelled:

– 66551 KSR Bengaluru–Ashokapuram

– 66552 Ashokapuram–KSR Bengaluru

– 66567 KSR Bengaluru–Tumakuru

– 66572 Tumakuru–KSR Bengaluru

– 06581 KSR Bengaluru–Channapatna

– 06582 Channapatna–KSR Bengaluru

Partial cancellations and short terminations

Several services will operate on shortened routes:

– 66512 Marikuppam–KSR Bengaluru will terminate at Bengaluru Cant instead of KSR Bengaluru.

– 66511 KSR Bengaluru–Marikuppam will originate from Bengaluru Cant.

– 66529 Kuppam–KSR Bengaluru will end at Bengaluru Cant, and 66530 KSR Bengaluru–Kuppam will start from Bengaluru Cant.

– 16215 Mysuru–KSR Bengaluru Chamundi Express will terminate at Kengeri.

– 20660 KSR Bengaluru–Mysuru Rajya Rani Express will depart from Kengeri.

– 66541 Whitefield–KSR Bengaluru and 66581 KSR Bengaluru–Bangarapet will start from Bengaluru Cant.

– 66524 Hindupur–KSR Bengaluru will terminate at Yelahanka.

– 16520 KSR Bengaluru–Jolarpettai will originate from Bengaluru Cant.

– 56224 Arsikere–KSR Bengaluru will end at Chikbanavar.

On August 9, train 07339 SSS Hubballi–KSR Bengaluru will be short-terminated at Yesvantpur.

Rescheduled services

– On August 9, 16536 Pandharpur–Mysuru Golgumbaz Express and 17308 Bagalkot–Mysuru Basava Express will depart 180 minutes late from Pandharpur and Bagalkot, respectively.

– On August 10, 12090 Shivamogga Town–KSR Bengaluru will start 90 minutes late, 66554 Ashokapuram–KSR Bengaluru will start 150 minutes late, and 20607 Dr. MGR Chennai Central–Mysuru Vande Bharat Express will be delayed by 90 minutes.

Regulated trains

– 20623 Ashokapuram–KSR Bengaluru Malgudi Express will be regulated en route by 45 minutes.

– 12007 Dr. MGR Chennai Central–Mysuru Shatabdi Express will be regulated by 30 minutes.

Diversion

– On August 10, 17326 Mysuru–Belagavi Vishwamanav Express will be diverted via Krishnarajanagar, Hassan, and Arsikere, skipping all stops from Pandavapura to Tiptur.

Station Entry Changes

The Second Entry (Back Gate) of KSR Bengaluru station, connecting Platforms 7 to 10, will be closed from 4 p.m. on August 9 until 2 p.m. on August 10. Passengers should use the main entry to access all platforms.
