New Delhi: At the Tata Motors Jamshedpur Plant, Raksha Bandhan is not just celebrated—it’s felt deeply. This year, the women of the Durga Line, who assemble some of India’s most reliable & Safe trucks, wrote handwritten letters to truck drivers they’ve never met—their Unknown Brothers.
Through ‘Raksha ka Bandhan – Tata Trucks, Desh ke Trucks’, these letters travel beyond factory walls to India’s highways, carrying messages of gratitude, respect and best wishes on occasion of Raksha Bandhan. For the women writing them, these drivers are more than operators—they are silent brothers carrying the hopes of the nation on every route they take. Each rakhi was accompanied by a letter. Each letter a voice from the production line that diligently produce crash-tested and safe Ultra, Signa, Prima range of trucks. Each word an echo of care that doesn’t need a face to be felt. Through this initiative, Tata Motors celebrates not just the strength and safety of its trucks, but the strength of its people—the makers and the movers, united by trust and a sense of duty.
