Bengaluru Traffic Advisory: The Bengaluru Traffic Police has announced vehicular restrictions on key routes on August 10 as Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit the city.
The traffic police have said that the restrictions will be in place on Sunday from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm. The Bengaluru Traffic Police has asked the commuters to avoid taking:
–Marenahalli Main Road (from Rajalakshmi Junction to Marenahalli 18th Main Road),
–Marenahalli East End Main Road Junction to Aravind Junction
-Silk Board to Hosur via Electronic City Elevated Flyover
-Hosur Road, and the stretch from Hosur to Bengaluru city
The restrictions on vehicle movement will also be in place on roads in Electronic City Phase 1, including Infosys Avenue, Velankani Road, and HP Avenue Road.

Alternative Routes
-To reach Jayadeva Hospital from Rajalakshmi Junction, people should take Sarrakki Market Road, 9th Cross Road, IG Circle and RV Dental Junction.
-For Bannerghatta Road, divert from Sarakki Junction via Outer Ring Road.
-For Banashankari from East End Circle, commuters can travel via 29th and 28th Main Road, Delmia Junction, Outer Ring Road (ORR), Sarakki Junction, and Kanakapura Road.
-For commuters traveling from Hosur Road to Kanakapura, Mysuru, and Tumakuru, the options include taking Jigani Road, Bommasandra Junction, and NICE Road.
-Commuters travelling from NICE Road to Hosur Road need will have to take extat Bannerghatta Junction and use Jigani Road and Bommasandra Junction.
-Those travelling to Sarjapur, Varthur, Whitefield and Hoskote from Hosur, will have to take Dommasandra Road via Chandapura Junction.

-To travel to HSR Layout, Koramangala, Bellandur, and Whitefield to Hosur, commuters can use Sarjapur Road and Chandapura.
-Within Electronic City Phase 1, the traffic police have advised the commuters to use 2nd Cross Road, Shikaripalya Road, Hulimangala Road, and Gollahalli Road.
-Moreover, parking will be prohibited on Marenahalli Main Road, 4th and 18th Main Roads between :30 am to 2:30 pm.
