Jyeshtha Purnima 2026: In Sanatan Dharma, the date of full moon is considered very special and sacred. The tradition of bathing, donating, worshiping and fasting on Purnima has been going on for centuries. Worshiping Moon God and Lord Vishnu on this day gives special benefits. On Purnima, the moon is complete with its sixteen phases. It is believed that offering Arghya to the Moon on the full moon day relieves mental stress.

The full moon of every month has its own significance. The full moon falling in the month of Jyeshtha is called Jyeshtha Purnima. Vat Purnima fast is also observed on this date. This year, there is doubt in the minds of people regarding the date of Jyeshtha Purnima, but Jyeshtha Purnima is going to be celebrated on 29th June.
Jyeshtha Purnima date (Jyeshtha Purnima 2026 Tithi)
- According to Drik Panchang, Jyeshtha Purnima Tithi will start on June 29 at 03.06 am.
- This date will end on June 30 at 05:26 am.
Based on Udaya Tithi, Jyeshtha Purnima will be celebrated on 29 June 2026 only. Vat Purnima fast will also be observed on this day. The time of moonrise on this day will be 07:16 in the evening.
Jyeshtha Purnima auspicious time (Jyeshtha Purnima 2026 Subh Muhurat)
On the day of Jyeshtha Purnima, Brahma Muhurta will start at 04.06 am. This auspicious time will last till 04:46 pm. Morning evening Muhurat will start at 04:26 am and will last till 05:26 am. Abhijeet Muhurta will start at 11:57 am and will last till 12:52 am. Twilight Muhurta will start at 07:22 in the evening. This Muhurta will start at 07:42. Amrit Kaal will start at 08:53 pm and will last till 10:53 pm.
Remedies for Jyeshtha Purnima (Jyeshtha Purnima Ke Remedies)
- Donate food and money on the day of Jyeshtha Purnima. There is a religious belief that donating on this day reduces the troubles of life and increases happiness and prosperity.
- Married women also observe Vat Purnima fast on this day. In such a situation, if you are married, then definitely observe the fast on Purnima. Worship the banyan tree. By doing this one gets the blessing of unbroken good fortune.
- On this day, offer yellow clothes, bananas and gram flour laddus to Lord Vishnu. By doing this, blessings remain in the house and auspicious results start coming. Also offer Arghya to the moon.
