A case has come to light from Meerut, Uttar Pradesh which has shocked everyone. The mother who had complained to the police about the alleged kidnapping of her six-year-old son, as the investigation progressed, was found to be involved in the murder conspiracy. According to the police, the child was murdered because it was an obstacle in love relationships.
Investigation started from complaint of kidnapping
A case of kidnapping of a six-year-old child was registered on June 16 in Bahsuma police station area. It was alleged in the complaint that Muzaffarnagar resident Arpit Sharma had taken the child away in his Wagonar car. The family members had expressed serious apprehensions regarding the safety of the child, after which the police immediately started investigation. Considering the sensitivity of the matter, several police teams were formed under the direction of senior officers. During the investigation, the police detained the accused Arpit Sharma and interrogated him.
Shocking revelation made during interrogation
According to the police, during interrogation the accused admitted that he had a love affair with Gurpreet Kaur, the mother of his deceased child. The accused claimed that the child was becoming an obstacle in their relationship. For this reason, he killed the child and hid the body in the forest of Hastinapur area. On the information of the accused, the police recovered the body of the child from the forest and sent it for post-mortem. The knife used in the murder and the Wagoneer car used in the incident were also recovered.
Mother’s role also came to the fore
Based on the evidence collected during the investigation and the statement of the accused, the police also found the role of the child’s mother suspicious. After this the police arrested Gurpreet Kaur. Police say that the woman is originally from Muzaffarnagar district and was currently living in a rented house in Bahsuma area. Investigation revealed that a conspiracy to murder the innocent child was hatched due to love affair.
