Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said, “The Prime Minister has also decided in the last budget to have a bullet train to connect Delhi to Varanasi via Patna. This will provide very good facilities to Bihar. The journey from Patna to Delhi will be only 4 hours 41 minutes. Further, the bullet train will go from Patna to Siliguri. Preparations for this have also started in the coming time. The first bullet train is going to start between Ahmedabad and Mumbai next year.”
