CM Yogi Adityanath took strict action against policemen making reels, gave strict orders

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath gave strict instructions on the security of Dev Diwali, Kartik Purnima and upcoming fairs. The CM ordered that the policemen making reels on sensitive duties should be removed immediately so that the security arrangements are not lapse.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given strict instructions to the administrative officials regarding the major festivals of the state, Kartik Purnima, Dev Diwali, Guru Nanak Jayanti, Dadri Fair (Ballia) and Garhmukteshwar Fair (Hapur). CM said that any kind of security lapse or negligence will not be tolerated in these events. He specifically warned that policemen making reels while on duty at sensitive sites should be removed immediately, as it is contrary to discipline and decorum.

CM Yogi’s focus on safety, cleanliness and vigilance

CM Yogi told the officials that during Dev Diwali and other festivals, a close watch should be kept on the unruly elements in the ghats and fairs and immediate action should be taken on any suspicious activity. “Safety, cleanliness and vigilance are our first priority,” he said. The Chief Minister directed that facilities like better lighting, CCTV cameras, floating barriers, health centers, mobile toilets, lost and found centers and changing rooms should be ensured at the ghats in advance, so that the devotees do not face any inconvenience.

SDRF and NDRF teams will be deployed at the ghats

Yogi Adityanath said that the water level of the rivers is high at this time, hence special caution should be taken on the ghats. He ordered that SDRF and NDRF teams should be deployed at every ghat and no one should be allowed to go boating without a life jacket.

Comprehensive review of video conferencing

The Chief Minister reviewed IGRS, CM Helpline, festival preparations, paddy procurement and health services through video conferencing. All Divisional Commissioners, District Magistrates, senior police officers and government level officials were present in the meeting. Regarding paddy procurement, he clarified that the process should run smoothly and farmers should not face any problem or interference from middlemen at any level.

CM’s strict instructions on illegal mining and cow shelter sites

Taking a tough stand on illegal mining, CM Yogi said that special teams should be formed and surprise inspections should be conducted and if irregularities are found, strict action will be taken against the concerned officials. For cow-shelter sites, he ordered the District Magistrates to personally inspect and ensure fodder, water and medical facilities for each cow.

Review of ‘Developed Uttar Pradesh @2047’ campaign also

The Chief Minister said that till now more than 72 lakh suggestions have been received from across the state. He said, “This campaign should be given the form of public participation so that the roadmap for the development of Uttar Pradesh can be prepared only with the suggestions of the public.”
