The birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the first Guru and founder of Sikhism, will be celebrated on 5 November this year. The pudding of flour and ghee given in the Prasad of Gurudwara is called Kadah Prasad. Which is made from ghee and flour, its taste is excellent. You can make it this way at home. To make this you will need 1 cup ghee, 1 cup flour, 1 cup sugar and two and a half cups water. Let us know about the easy recipe of making Kadha Prasad.

To make Kada Prasad, first of all place a big pan on the gas and add ghee to it and heat it. After it gets hot, add flour and sugar to it and fry it well. After this add water, mix well and cook on low flame till the right consistency is reached. Kada Prasad is ready. If you want, you can also add finely chopped almonds, cashews or raisins on top.

another way

First of all, put 2 cups of water and sugar in a pan and heat it. When the sugar dissolves completely, turn off the gas. There is no need to boil it. Now take another heavy pan or pan and add ghee in it and heat it. Add flour to it and fry it on low flame while stirring continuously. Keep frying until the flour becomes golden in color and smells good. This may take about 8 to 10 minutes. Now put this mixture of sugar and water in the pan. There should be no steam coming in it. Keep stirring it continuously and take care that no lumps are formed. When the halwa gradually starts thickening and the ghee starts separating from the sides, then turn off the gas. Add finely chopped almonds, cashews and raisins and serve.
