Sawai Madhopur News: The recent landslides in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand have increased the difficulties of hundreds of devotees who have gone on Chardham Yatra. According to the information, about 210 passengers who left for Kedarnath and Badrinath from Sawai Madhopur are stranded due to blocking the road for the last three days. The main route has been completely closed due to the mountain slipping and landslide, forcing the passengers to stay there.
Rajasthan minister Kirori Lal Meena gave big update
As soon as the news of the disaster was received, Rajasthan Disaster Management Minister Dr. Kirori Lal Meena spoke to the trapped passengers on the phone. He assured everyone to maintain patience and assured that soon action will be taken to evacuate them. The minister also negotiated with ITBP Commandant Dharmendra posted on the spot and urged to speed up relief work and ensure safety of all passengers.
All passengers safe even after havoc in Uttarakhand
According to sources, all these passengers rode in seven buses and left for Sawai Madhopur. At present, all are safe and local administration and security forces are taking care of their needs. However, due to continuous bad weather and debris accumulation on the route, the situation has not yet become completely normal.
