The United States produced a remarkable performance at the 2025 Pickleball World Cup, winning the championship trophy on home soil after excelling in all categories: juniors, open, and seniors.
The event, held in Fort Lauderdale, drew participation from over 60 nations, but it was the host country that ultimately emerged victorious. Team USA showcased exceptional skill and teamwork, and their consistent performances across all age groups and divisions led them to dominate the tournament.
“Fort Lauderdale witnesses greatness!” the official Pickleball World Cup page declared, celebrating the USA’s clean sweep of titles. The victory marks yet another milestone for the sport in America, reaffirming its dominance and continued growth as pickleball expands rapidly worldwide.
Meanwhile, India also completed its first participation in the 2025 Pickleball World Cup in Florida, achieving an impressive total of 24 medals: 8 gold, seven silver, and eight bronze. This success made it India’s best performance in pickleball on the global stage, with the team finishing seventh overall.
The Indian team competed for the first time at this major event, organised by the Indian Pickleball Association (IPA), the national body for the sport. Indian players showed the growing popularity and skill level of pickleball in India. Eight players won gold medals, marking a significant milestone for the sport in the country.
