Co anuj chaudhary promotion: CO Anuj Chaudhary, who came into the limelight after the Sambhal violence, has finally got a big achievement. The government has promoted him to the post of Additional SP. Anuj Chaudhary, a 2012 batch PPS officer, was admitted from sports quota and has now become the first officer of UP Police to reach the post of ASP from this quota.
Name in the list at the last moment
At least 12 years of service is mandatory to become ASP from CO. In the 2012 batch, this condition was fulfilled by Anuj Chaudhary only. Under the sports quota, he got a chance to enter service before normal recruitment. On this basis, he demanded promotion and his name was approved in the DPC meeting held on August 2.

Only Anuj Chaudhary was found eligible in DPC meeting
41 posts of ASP were vacant in UP. In the meeting of the Departmental Promotion Committee held on August 2, the names of 29 deputy SPs of 2010 batch were discussed from 2007 to 2010. Of these, 11 were found to be ineligible and in the rest, only Anuj Chaudhary became eligible for promotion. As a result, he became directly ASP.
The name came in the discussion after Sambhal violence
The security system of the district was tightened after the death of four people in the violence in Sambhal on 24 November. On March 14, a meeting of the peace committee was held for security due to the second Zuma of Holi and Ramadan falling together. During this, Anuj Chaudhary had given a statement that “If someone feels his religion is corrupted by the color of Holi, he should not leave the house. If someone tries to spoil harmony on Holi day, it will not be tolerated.”
CM Yogi’s support and new responsibility
CM Yogi Adityanath supported Anuj Chaudhary’s statement, saying, “If you are a wrestler, he will speak like a wrestler.” Now the state government has promoted him to the post of ASP in view of his seniority and service period.
