Karnataka Weather Update: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Friday stated that several districts of Karnataka, including capital city Bengaluru, are likely to receive light to heavy rainfall for the next few days. While the coastal regions are expected to witness thunderstorms and gusty winds along with rainfall, the other areas are set to receive light to moderate rainfall. While the rainfall is likely to provide relief from the heat, it will also lead to situations like waterlogging and power outages in multiple regions. The weather department has advised the residents to follow the guidelines and limit their outings to avoid any inconveniences.
While providing details, the weather department stated that several regions, including Bagalkot, Belagavi, Bidar, Dharwad, Gadag, Haveri, Kalaburagi, Koppal, Raichur, Vijayapura, Yadgir, and Bengaluru, are set to witness light to heavy rainfall till August 14.

Bengaluru weather forecast till August 14:
August 9: City is likely to witness light rainfall along with gentle breeze
August 10: The residents are set to experience cloudy skies with occasional light rain
August 11: Moderate rainfall expected in multiple regions of the city
August 12: City is likely to witness light rainfall along with gentle breeze
August 13: Moderate rainfall likely to cause waterlogging in several areas
August 14: Moderate to heavy rainfall expected in the later parts of the day

The weather department stated that while the maximum temperature is likely to be recorded at 29 degrees Celsius, the minimum temperature is expected to remain around 20 degrees Celsius. The IMD has advised the fishermen to follow the guidelines and stop their financial activities during the rainfall to avoid any inconveniences.
Apart from Karnataka, several other states, including Kerala, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, and Delhi, are also likely to receive light to heavy rainfall for the next few days.
