Shah Rukh Khan Upcoming Movie King: The teaser of Shah Rukh Khan’s new film ‘King’ was released on his birthday on 2 November. In this, the title of the film and the look of the superstar were officially unveiled. Shahrukh is looking quite ferocious in this 72 second teaser. Since then, the question in people’s mind is whether he is a hero or a villain in this film and Shahrukh Khan himself answered this in the meet and greet event organized for his fans on Monday.
Shahrukh Khan talks about the character of ‘King’
Talking about his character in ‘King’, Shahrukh Khan said, “I just felt that if we don’t do anything interesting in the film, then within the same shot the hero will come, sing two songs, do two fights and go away. So the character of King is very interesting. Siddharth (Anand) and Sujoy (Ghosh) have written it with a lot of love. And he has a lot of evil in him, he kills people and doesn’t even ask. ‘How many were you ever asked?’ No.’ I think for the storytelling and not because youngsters watch films now. I think it is very important that heroes like me play different roles. Something inspiring, something aspiring, something comic, something romantic. So that’s what I’m trying now, man. Now I… a good big film is made within a year or two. Because I also know that making films has become a bit difficult right now. So you should prepare very carefully so as not to disappoint you.”

Is Shahrukh Khan playing the role of a villain in ‘King’?
Shahrukh Khan further said, “So don’t say whether he is a villain or not. Yes, he is a very dark character. A very gray character. And I think it is very interesting. So all these lines within it, I think reflect a little bit of that character. So yes, I hope you guys like it a lot. This does not mean that you should also do what he does.” According to Shahrukh, “So it is not that I am playing a villain or just a negative one. This role is very good and very interesting. So, I think the way Sid (Siddharth Anand) has done this film, it has been very interesting and on a big scale. So, I hope you will enjoy this character.”
