India’s Passport Ranking Drops: India’s passport slipped to 85th place, Singapore’s most powerful passport

India’s passport has dropped five places to 85th position in the Henley Passport Index 2025. Now Indian citizens can travel to 57 countries without a visa, whereas last year this number was 59. At the same time, Singapore has become the most powerful passport in the world with visa-free access to 193 countries. Japan and South Korea are in second place. America has also fallen out of the top-10 for the first time in two decades.
