The Har Ghar Tiranga campaign will run from 2 to 15 August 2025, in which every Indian will get a chance to hoist the tricolor at their home, share selfie and show patriotism. CM Mohan Yadav has appealed to the public to participate enthusiastically.
Har ghar tiranga: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the country has entered the nectar of its independence under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. The ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign started in this Amrit period 2025, is a nationwide movement to bring the national flag to the home of every Indian. It is not just a symbol, but a celebration of our unity, freedom and pride, which is filled with the spirit of the tricolor.
The Chief Minister has appealed to the people of the state to participate in this campaign with full enthusiasm, pride and patriotism. The campaign will start from August 2 to 15 August 2025. Its purpose is to instill a sense of patriotism in every citizen and to further strengthen respect for the tricolor. The tricolor is the strength of our unity and through this campaign, the spirit of belonging to the people will be promoted.
Background of every house tricolor campaign
This campaign, which started as part of the Amrit Mahotsav of independence in the year 2022, has now become a mass movement. It is also involved in India as well as Indians living around the world.
Tricolor every house: three phases of this year
The ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign is being held in three phases from August 2 to August 15 –
First phase (2–8 August): Emphasis on increasing awareness and spreading the spirit of tricolor to the people. It included activities like tricolor rangoli in schools and public places, exhibitions on tricolor history and importance, sending ashes and letters to soldiers and police personnel, decorating government buildings with tricolor lights.
Second phase (9–12 August): Focused on community engagement and collective partnership. The tricolor festival, cultural programs, rallies and tricolor quiz will be organized on social media.
Third phase (13–15 August): Time to show patriotism at a personal level. This includes hoisting the tricolor on the houses and sharing a selfie with the tricolor.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the tricolor is a symbol of the soul of our country, the symbol of our sacrifices and our shared aspirations.
